Connect ChatGPT, Claude or any assistant to your diary

Top Nutritionist works with the assistant you already use. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any other agent can record your meals, activity, sleep and how you feel in your diary and read your days and reports, with your approval. Your assistant estimates; we record and organise. No credits are needed for this.

How it works

1. Give your assistant this address: nutri.coghorizon.com/connect.md. It reads the instructions there and asks you for your e-mail address.
2. We send an approval e-mail to that address. Open the link, read what the assistant will be able to do, accept the terms and give your consent.
3. The assistant receives its access and starts recording. Every connected assistant is listed on your report page, where you can disconnect it at any time.

ChatGPT and Claude

Add https://nutri.coghorizon.com/mcp as a remote MCP server (ChatGPT: apps and connectors; Claude: custom connectors). The sign-in page asks for your e-mail and sends the same approval link; after you approve, the page returns you to the app by itself.

Cursor, Claude Code and other agents

Point the agent to /connect.md; it connects through the e-mail approval and keeps its token in its own configuration. Agents that accept a header use the token as Authorization: Bearer on the MCP server or the REST API.

Why your e-mail address

It tells us whose diary this is, the same way the Telegram bot links your report page to your e-mail. We send mail only for approvals like this one and for sign-in links; the address is never published or passed on.

What a connected assistant can do

• Read your meals, activity, sleep and wellbeing notes.
• Add and delete meals, activity, sleep and wellbeing notes.
• Read your daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Create and revoke report links for your nutritionist or trainer.

You see the exact list on the approval page. The assistant never receives your password, and it cannot buy credits or delete your account.

Privacy

What you tell your assistant is processed by its provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or the one you chose) under that provider's terms. Top Nutritionist receives only the records the assistant sends and keeps them in the European Union, as the privacy notice describes. We do not send records received through the API to OpenAI. We log which application called which function, without content, and show you the list on your report page.

For developers

• Instructions for assistants: /connect.md, versioned; GET /api/v1/meta reports the current version so an agent knows when to re-read it.
• OpenAPI 3.1: /openapi.json; base URL /api/v1; errors as problem+json (RFC 9457).
• MCP server: /mcp, Streamable HTTP with JSON responses. Tools: log_meal, list_meals, get_day, list_days, set_activity, set_sleep, add_wellbeing_note, delete_record, get_report, list_share_links, create_share_link, revoke_share_link, list_profiles, create_profile, whoami.
• Authentication: e-mail approval (POST /api/v1/connect, token delivered once by polling) or OAuth 2.1 with PKCE S256 and dynamic client registration (metadata); access tokens last one hour, refresh tokens rotate.
• Scopes: records:read, records:write, reports:read, share:manage.
• Limits: 120 requests and 60 writes per minute per token; 3 connection requests per e-mail address per hour.
• Boundary: the API records what your model estimated and computes totals. It provides no estimates, recommendations or judgements of its own, and your product must not present its output as medical or dietary advice (terms of use, section 13).
